To begin our project, we do a walk around the property to inspect any existing damage including but not limited to Windows, screened Porch, Driveway. Etc.. We then take pictures and inform the Home owner of our discoveries.
We proceed to cover the driveway with a tarp. We also cover the perimeter of the property to assure there aren't any damages during the project.
We begin the "Tear- Off" process up until the plywood is visible. We inspect the plywood to assure it meets building codes, if the plywood does not in fact meet codes, we must then replace the damaged sheets.
We begin Re-nailing the Roof with 2-3 x 8 (Ring Bright MDP) Framing nails if required
to bring it up to Code.
We add self adhering membrane to all valleys (Valleys are the most water vulnerable places on the roof ! )
We continue by covering the roof with a synthetic roof underlayment attached with 1" cap nails.
We then proceed to drip edge the Home ONLY if the home does not have Gutters. If the property has Gutters, We shall not remove the existing drip edge.
We Begin The Shingle Process. Every shingle is installed with six
1-1/4" coil nails.
We Begin by applying a 6 inch wide coat of Bull (Roofing Cement) along the perimeter.
We Install The Shingle Cap and Shingle Vents per Manufacturer Specifications
We clean the roof and gutters to finalize the Project.
As well as assuring the perimeter of the home is cleared as well, Our Workers use magnets around the property to pick up loose nails.
Finally we do a final walk through with the Home Owner around the property to assure the job was done correctly and if any imperfection is found it shall be addressed before departure.
We then Grant you with a certificate of Completion !
