About NB Roofs
About NB Roofs, a Family-Owned Roofing Company
NB Roofs is a family-owned and family-operated roofing company built on experience, craftsmanship, and responsibility.
Our story
Why Aaron Baker and Carlos Nieves Started NB Roofs
Nieves & Baker Roofing (NB Roofs) is a family-owned roofing company based at 1014 W Dixie Ave in Leesburg, FL, serving homeowners in The Villages and across Central Florida. Its founders, Aaron Baker and Carlos Nieves, have worked together in the roofing industry since 2000.
Founded by Aaron Baker and Carlos Nieves, professionals with decades of experience between them in the roofing industry, NB Roofs was created in response to what the industry was becoming. Too many roofing companies shifted their focus away from quality and service and toward volume, image, and marketing performance. Homeowners were left dealing with rushed jobs, shortcuts, pressure-based sales, and confusion instead of clarity.
NB Roofs was built to be different.
How we work
Our Philosophy
At NB Roofs, “doing the job right” is not a slogan. It is a standard.
A roof is more than shingles. It is a complete roofing system. Every layer matters. Every detail matters. Every step matters. From preparation to installation to documentation, the process must be done correctly.
Many of the most important parts of a roof are the parts homeowners never see, yet they determine the long-term performance, durability, and protection of the home. That is where real quality lives.
To us, a roof is finished only when the system is properly built, the structure is protected, the installation meets code and manufacturer standards, and the homeowner is confident in the result.
Why homeowners choose us
Our Commitment to Customers
We understand what homeowners are actually worried about when choosing a roofing contractor.
- Trust.
- Cost.
- Pressure.
- Honesty.
- Quality.
- Accountability.
- Longevity.
That is why our approach is built on education and transparency instead of manipulation and pressure.
We believe homeowners should be informed, not sold. When a roofing project is complete, our goal is simple. The homeowner should feel confident in their decision, knowing their home is protected and their investment was handled responsibly.
Who we are
A Real Family Business
NB Roofs is not a brand concept. It is a real family operation.
Aaron Baker and Carlos Nieves have worked together in the roofing industry since 2000, building decades of experience long before NB Roofs existed. The company was built on that foundation of hands-on knowledge, trust, and long-term working relationships.
NB Roofs is owned and operated by family, not investors or outside partners. Ownership and operations include Aaron Baker and Carlos Nieves, along with Carlos’ brother Gonzalo Nieves, Carlos’ daughter GiGi Nieves, Carlos’ daughter Yami (Nieves) Rodriguez, Carlos’ son-in-law Javier Rodriguez, and Aaron’s daughter Isis (Baker) Chambers.
This structure makes NB Roofs a true family-owned and family-operated roofing company in reality, not just in name. We aim to deliver the care, accountability, and trust of a small-town family business with the precision, systems, and production capability of a large-scale roofing operation.
